Engine Maintenance, near Dallas, Texas

This is one of the fairest, honest, trustworthy auto repair shops that I have ever visited. I began having issues with my Honda Accord. I visited at the least two other completely unrelated auto repair shops in the DFW, paid for diagnostics and was advised of other mechanical needs necessary for maintenance (that I actually paid for) but, nothing that pertained to the issue. Paid for “possible” solutions but, nothing that was done prior ever resolved the matter. I was dealing with an intermittent mechanical problem. I brought my car to Highland Auto and was treated extremely fair. I needed to visit the shop twice (intermittent issue). The first visit, a solution was found but needed additional work. Because of my prior attempts to have my car repaired resulted with the same issue, I figured that there would not be a fix. Highland Auto took the extra steps, found out exactly what the issue was and REPAIRED my car. I waited over 1 month just to make sure that the intermittent issue was actually resolved. It has been a little over a month now and I can factually say..it is fixed. To add, this repair shop provided the reassurance every step of the way. They also provided a courtesy vehicle while my car was in their shop being repaired. This took so much stress off my transportation concerns. Shockingly amazing and very fair company. Thank you Highland Auto!. You have no idea how much your positivity, fairness, and honesty and matters!

We took our 2007 Jeep Liberty in due to some engine problems. Well, they looked in over and told what I had already suspected - the engine was in bad shape and loosing oil.The owner of the garage made some phone calls and presented us with a price much lower than we expected. We had them do the job (in one and a half weeks) and one their quoted price, we've driven the Jeep for a few days now without any problems. They did a great job and I would recommend them to everyone. Thanks guys for your detail to your work and low prices. I am beyond grateful for the amazing service I received here! They fixed my O-ring, gasket cover, and gave my car a tune-up. The work was done thoroughly, professionally, and at a fair price. But what truly touched me was when I noticed later that they went above and beyond, they fixed my bumper without even charging me. That kind of kindness and integrity is so rare to find! I had a problem with my car starting and cranking, and eventually starting smoking. I called highlands auto and they gave me the best price to tow to their shop. They replaced the electrical starter on my car after it went out and they had it repaired and ready to drive within the same day. Fast and efficient. Highly recommend this shop for auto repair. I can't say enough about Chris and his entire team. Their honesty and integrity truly stood out during what could have been a very stressful situation. We brought our Land Rover in for a second opinion after my daughter had taken her vehicle to the Land Rover dealership in Dallas for a routine oil change. She was charged $450 for a high-grade oil change (which already felt excessive, as I typically pay around $250 in Connecticut), and then presented with a list of recommended repairs totaling over $5,000. What was most concerning is that there were no issues with the car prior to the visit. They claimed she needed a new battery, hoses, and several other items. It honestly felt like my daughter was being taken advantage of. I immediately researched reputable shops in the area and came across Chris. From the very first interaction, he was attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. He had my daughter bring the car in for a diagnostic and provided an honest, thorough quote. Come to find out, her car did not need any of the items the dealership had recommended. Thank you, Chris, and thank you to your entire team for your transparency, professionalism, and most importantly, your honesty. It's rare to find a business you can truly trust, and we are incredibly grateful to have found yours. Highly recommend.

I usually take my Prius Prime hybrid vehicle to a Toyota dealership, but I have been unhappy with the service there, so I decided to look for an auto service center closer to my home. I was so happy that I did after I found Highlands Auto Center. I found their mechanical service and the customer service were excellent. Not only were they closer to home and faster than a dealership, they also were more thorough. I had an engine light come on, and they gave me a fair quote on specifically what needed to be fixed, which was cheaper than the dealership's quote. They also completed the service quickly, and they gave me fair quotes on some other issues with advice on what I should consider getting fixed at some time with no pressure to fix anything else other than what I needed to be fixed to address the engine light. Lastly, when I did not have enough cash to pay to avoid the credit card use fee, I was told I could bring the cash back anytime that day because they strive to operate on trust with them trusting their customers and their customers trusting them. I definitely will be going back to Highlands Auto Center.
